Getting Started with Invogo

Set Up Your Business Profile
Before your first invoice, add your business details in Settings: your business name, ABN, logo, and the bank details you want customers to pay into. These details are saved once and automatically appear on every invoice you create from then on, so you're not retyping them every time.
Add Your First Client
Add a client's name and contact details once, and they're saved for reuse on every future job — handy for repeat customers, property managers, or strata clients you invoice regularly. You can keep adding clients as new work comes in.
Create Your First Invoice
Pick a client, add line items for labour and materials, toggle GST on if you're registered, and set a due date. Invogo builds a clean, professional invoice automatically and lets you send it straight away or download it as a PDF.
Track Your Payments
Once an invoice is sent, your dashboard shows its status at a glance — paid, unpaid, or overdue — so you always know who owes you money without digging through emails or paper copies.
Free vs Pro: What You Get
The free plan includes 5 invoices or quotes a month, up to 5 clients, basic templates, PDF download, ABN verification, and email support — no credit card required. If you outgrow that, the Pro plan (A$9.99/month or A$99.99/year) adds unlimited invoices, premium templates and branding, payment tracking and reminders, dashboard reports, and priority support.
Next Steps
If your trade is plumbing, electrical, landscaping, or building, check out the trade-specific invoicing guide in the resources hub for tips on GST, ABNs, and getting paid faster in your line of work. Otherwise, jump in and send your first invoice — most tradies have it done in under five minutes.
